I WAS IN THE VOLTA REGIONAL CAPITAL TO SEE HOW BASKETBALL RUN.

On the 17/12/2011 I was ho the Volta region capital to see things for myself. With how basketball is been run over there. And how we can set up our academy there from the beginning of next year arriving I saw the boys in the basketball court playing ball and there was no one there to lead THEM.This’s right place to be.I want straight up to the sports director had a one on one talk with him tell him my plans for the youth and basketball in the region as a whole.
After our meeting got back to the stadium i had a talk with the boys as well as the regional BASKETBALL HEAD COACH and they were all excited about my idea. Everybody in this city love basketball they all said & we’ll be very glad to have this kind of academy here they all said as it’ll create an opportunity for us to become a roll model to our younger once coming after us .

In my personal point of view I think the potential are here it's just that people don't seems to be interested in this area and I feel touched about our program moving here come next year. There are many promising basketball player's here that if we take time to work on them for next two to three years we're going to have a lot of Ghanaian basketball
players abroad.
