Ghana Basketball and it’s up & down

Ghana Basketball and it’s up & down
It’s been a while since I passed by basketball courts in Accra, so last week I decide to work into a basketball court in town cancel line to see things for myself and I was very much satisfied with what I saw with kids having passion for the game even though we are not making much effort to improve the game. One thing I’ve learn from that very day is that we can make it happen even without the help of the officials of the Ghana basketball,

I’ve made some move in the past by bringing Jake Sullivan from Iowa to partner with me and make Ghana basketball league look completely great to the outside world and Africa as whole. but that move could not go well because of personal interest from the kind of people who always want things for themselves,

I brought Mohammed Salifou from New York and also Dominic and Alfred Jeff from France and the link fail because of what is well known in Ghana as back biting this guy’s kill all this dreams,

As a coach I was the first coach to have brought the idea of having a basketball academy in Ghana and the main purpose of this to develop future basketball player’s for all national teams levels the idea was great and Jake and I agree to Acquire for a six plot of land in the western region of Ghana Takoradi Jake has a good plans for this program to kick off but the way we as basketball family behave to the this guy was very bad we lie to them just because of personal greed at the end of it all who is on the disadvantage here is not the kids that we putting danger here? Ever since 2009 Jake and I have try take five student athletes to the states to study but they all fail only two out of five them succeed.

This time around I’ve been to almost of the regions in the country and I just find out that nobody talking about how we can move our basketball forward.
I’ll be back next week to continue with my story on Ghana basketball

Ramson is a student of Government High School Bonadikombo Limbe in the Africa Nation of Cameroon. Dybala as he is fondly called by his friends catches my eyes when I went to watch a community soccer tournament hosted by some local coaches in the community I watched him for the whole of the tournament have nothing but admiration for him. I had a brief conversation with him after a game and was astonished by his knowledge about the game of soccer, which he passionately want to be a professional soccer player someday, but at the moment he says his ultimate goal is to get educations through the game of soccer. Ramson is a Midfielder who can play anywhere in the middle of park he’s very strong, creative, and fast and has eyes for goals; no wonder his mates gave him the name Paulo Dybala. UEFA Scraps Goal Rule In Champions League And Europa League

UEFA has abolished the away goal rule in all club competitions from the 2021/22 season. Instead, ties that are still level after two matches will go to extra time and penalties. “The away goals rule has been an intrinsic part of UEFA competitions since it was introduced in 1965. However, the question of its abolition has been debated at various UEFA meetings over the last few years,” UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin said. “Although there was no unanimity of views, many coaches, fans and other football stakeholders have questioned its fairness and have expressed a preference for the rule to be abolished.” He added: “The impact of the rule now runs counter to its original purpose as, in fact, it now dissuades home teams – especially in first legs – from attacking, because they fear conceding a goal that would give their opponents a crucial advantage. ”There is also criticism of the unfairness, especially in extra time, of obliging the home team to score twice when the away team h
