Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, and his Taraba State counterpart, Darius Ishaku, today led their respective security councils in a joint session to find solutions to the criminality along the borders of the two states.
That was the major focus of their meeting which is being held at the Federal University, Wukari.
They resolved to tackle the insecurity being perpetrated by criminals including kidnappings, robberies, and assassinations so that peace would reign in the affected communities.
A communique is being expected at the end of the meeting after which a tour of selected communities will be undertaken by the joint security councils.
